Human Car Interaction is an active area of research and a new program at Arizona State University. It dives into various issues related to day-to-day interaction with cars ranging from use of voice-recognition, Multi Modal Interaction (MMI), Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and minimizing driver distraction.
Extensive research is being conducted on minimizing driver distraction and simplifying driver interaction leading to a safe and simple experience for drivers.
